The detangling attachment works really nicely on his longer coat without pulling which I was worried about. Steam heats up quickly, maybe 30 seconds? He's a bit wary of the sound still but we're getting there. Really happy with this purchase.

I was skeptical about the steam thing — felt like a marketing add-on. But it actually makes a real difference. My border collie has a pretty thick double coat and grooming used to take forever. The steam loosens everything up so the brush glides through much easier. Sessions are shorter and her coat looks better. Converted.

Simple review: bought it, used it, it works. My dog smells fresher, sheds less, and looks well-groomed between actual baths. The steam function is legitimately good. No complaints.

Have a Samoyed so grooming is basically a part-time job. The SteamGroom handles her coat better than anything I've tried. The steam really penetrates all that fluff and the deshedding mode gets an insane amount of loose fur out. Whole house is cleaner since I started using this consistently. Highly recommend for heavy-shedding breeds.

If you knew my cat Luna you'd understand why this is a miracle. She used to bolt the second she saw a brush. With the SteamGroom she just... stays? I think the warm steam calms her down. Three weeks in and grooming sessions are no longer a battle. Absolutely worth every penny.
